ACV HeatMaster TC Evo
The ACV HeatMaster TC Evo 25–45kW is a high-efficiency condensing gas boiler with integrated domestic hot-water production, designed for residential, commercial and high-demand heating applications.
The range includes the HeatMaster 25 TC Evo, HeatMaster 35 TC Evo and HeatMaster 45 TC Evo, giving installers a choice of three heating outputs while retaining ACV’s Tank-in-Tank hot-water technology.
Unlike a conventional heating-only boiler, the HeatMaster TC Evo combines central heating and domestic hot-water production within one floor-standing appliance. This makes it a practical solution for properties that require both space heating and a substantial domestic hot-water supply.
The HeatMaster TC Evo uses ACV’s proven Tank-in-Tank technology.
Each model incorporates:
The domestic hot-water tank is positioned inside the primary heating tank, providing a large heat-transfer surface and allowing the appliance to recover hot water efficiently.
ACV’s documentation states that the stainless-steel domestic hot-water tank does not require an anode protection system, helping simplify maintenance.
The HeatMaster TC Evo is available in three main output sizes.
The 25 TC Evo has:
The 35 TC Evo provides:
The 45 TC Evo provides:
ACV’s current product documentation confirms the 25, 35 and 45 TC Evo output range and corresponding technical characteristics.
The HeatMaster TC Evo uses a modulating premix gas burner and condensing heat exchanger technology.
At 30% load, ACV specifies efficiency of approximately:
These values are based on the relevant condensing test methodology and should not be interpreted as a simple fuel-to-heat percentage under every operating condition.
The appliances also achieve NOx Class 6, supporting lower-emission combustion performance.
The integrated Tank-in-Tank system allows the HeatMaster TC Evo to provide domestic hot water while also serving the heating system.
ACV specifies the following performance at 40°C:
| Model | Peak Flow / 10 min | First-Hour Flow | Continuous Flow |
|---|---|---|---|
| HeatMaster 25 TC Evo | 361L | 1,018L/h | 788L/h |
| HeatMaster 35 TC Evo | 408L | 1,328L/h | 1,104L/h |
| HeatMaster 45 TC Evo | 451L | 1,610L/h | 1,390L/h |
These figures are manufacturer’s test values and actual performance will depend on incoming water temperature, operating conditions and system design.
The HeatMaster TC Evo is designed to recover its hot-water storage quickly.
ACV specifies heating times from 40°C to 80°C of approximately:
Heating time from 40°C to 90°C is approximately 30, 28 and 25 minutes respectively.
This recovery capability makes the range suitable for properties where hot-water demand can fluctuate throughout the day.
The HeatMaster TC Evo uses a stainless-steel heat exchanger and stainless-steel domestic hot-water tank.
Benefits of the stainless-steel construction include:
The HeatMaster TC Evo incorporates ACV’s ACVMax Touch control system.
The control system provides a user interface for monitoring and managing appliance operation, while the modulating premix burner adjusts combustion according to demand.
The appliance also incorporates a high-efficiency circulator pump and integrated safety/control components.
The HeatMaster TC Evo range can be configured for natural gas and propane, depending on the specific product version.
ACV’s documentation identifies natural gas and propane configurations for the range. The exact gas type, product reference and conversion requirements should always be confirmed before ordering.
One of the main advantages of the HeatMaster TC Evo is that it combines:
Central heating + domestic hot-water production
in a single floor-standing appliance.
This can simplify system design compared with installing separate heating and hot-water equipment, depending on the project requirements.
The appliance can be considered for:
The HeatMaster TC Evo is particularly relevant where both space heating and domestic hot-water demand need to be addressed.
Typical applications include:
Suitable for properties requiring heating alongside regular hot-water demand from guest rooms and facilities.
Can be considered where reliable heating and hot-water production are required throughout the building.
The integrated hot-water system can help meet significant DHW demand alongside building heating requirements.
The range provides several output options to help match different building heating and hot-water requirements.
The HeatMaster TC Evo can provide a combined heating and hot-water solution for larger homes where a standard domestic boiler may not provide sufficient DHW performance.
The HeatMaster TC Evo uses an 80/125mm concentric flue connection.
ACV specifies a maximum concentric flue length of approximately 20 metres under the manufacturer’s stated conditions.
The actual permitted flue arrangement depends on the installation configuration, number of bends, terminal arrangement and applicable regulations.
