Provence 3kW Blue Gas Heater with Thermostat

Provence 3kW Gas Heater

The Provence 3kW Blue Gas Heater with Thermostat combines the appearance of a traditional stove with convenient portable gas heating. Its distinctive blue finish, realistic living flame effect and freestanding design make it suitable for customers looking for both warmth and classic styling.

Designed for butane LPG operation, the Provence provides adjustable heating up to 3kW and can be moved between suitable rooms using its built-in wheels. The thermostat version is designed to provide automatic temperature control for greater convenience during everyday heating.

3kW Portable Gas Heating

The Provence provides up to 3kW of heat output, making it a practical option for supplemental heating in suitable indoor spaces.

Its adjustable heat output allows the heater to provide different levels of warmth depending on the room and heating requirement.

The Provence can be considered for suitable applications including:

• Living rooms
• Conservatories
• Cottages
• Garden rooms
• Dining areas
• Suitable offices
• Backup or occasional heating

Room size, ventilation and the manufacturer’s installation requirements must always be considered before using a gas heater.

Blue Provence Gas Heater with Traditional Stove Styling

The blue Provence combines portable gas heating with a traditional stove-inspired appearance.

Its living flame effect provides a more traditional visual experience than a standard cabinet-style gas heater, while the freestanding format allows it to become part of the room rather than simply functioning as a heating appliance.

The blue finish is particularly suited to traditional, country-style and character interiors.

Provence Gas Heater with Thermostat

This version of the Provence is equipped with an automatic temperature controller.

According to the thermostat model documentation, when the desired room temperature is reached, the controller can adjust the burner to a lower setting. When the room temperature falls, the burner can increase again to provide additional heat.

This thermostat operation is designed to help maintain a more consistent room temperature without requiring constant manual adjustment.

The thermostat should not be confused with the standard non-thermostat Provence model. Check the exact model supplied before purchase.

Butane LPG Gas Operation

The Provence is designed for butane LPG cylinder operation.

The automatic-temperature-control Provence manual identifies compatible gas cylinders in the 7kg–15kg gas-capacity range, subject to the applicable regulator and installation requirements.

Always use the correct regulator, hose and gas cylinder for the exact model and market in which the heater is being installed.

Living Flame Gas Heater

The Provence features a realistic living flame effect designed to give the appearance of a traditional gas stove.

This makes it different from basic portable cabinet heaters and allows it to provide both practical supplemental heat and a traditional stove-style appearance.

Portable Gas Heater with Wheels

The Provence includes integrated wheels that make it easier to reposition the heater when it is switched off and safe to move.

Its portable design is useful when supplemental heating is required in different suitable areas of a property.

The heater must always be operated in the position and environment specified by the manufacturer.

Gas Heater Safety Features

The Provence incorporates safety systems designed for its gas-heating application.

Depending on the exact model specification, these include:

• Flame Failure Device (FFD)
• Oxygen Depletion System (ODS)
• Automatic temperature control on the thermostat model
• Electronic ignition
• Gas safety controls

The ODS is designed to shut down the gas supply if oxygen levels fall below the required level.

Gas appliances must always be operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Appropriate ventilation is essential, and the heater must be kept away from combustible materials and used only in suitable rooms.

Suitable Uses for the Provence Gas Heater

The Provence can provide supplemental heating for suitable indoor areas where portable gas heating is appropriate.

Potential applications include:

Living Rooms

Use the Provence as supplemental heating in suitable living areas where the manufacturer’s minimum room-size and ventilation requirements are met.

Conservatories

The portable format can be useful for providing additional warmth in suitable conservatory environments.

Cottages and Character Homes

The traditional stove appearance and blue finish complement interiors where a classic heating design is preferred.

Garden Rooms

The Provence may be considered for suitable garden rooms where gas heating is permitted and the required ventilation and safety conditions can be met.

Backup Heating

A portable gas heater can provide an alternative source of supplemental heat where appropriate, particularly when additional room heating is required.

Ventilation and Safe Operation

Gas-burning appliances consume oxygen and produce combustion products, so suitable ventilation is essential.

Before using the Provence:

• Read the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Check the gas hose and regulator.
• Use the correct gas cylinder and regulator.
• Ensure the room meets the manufacturer’s minimum requirements.
• Maintain the required clearance from combustible materials.
• Do not cover the heater.
• Do not move the heater while operating.
• Never use the appliance in an unsuitable or poorly ventilated environment.

The manufacturer documentation specifies minimum clearance requirements and provides detailed operating instructions for the thermostat model.
